Everspin Implements FakeFinder at the Korean Federation of Community Credit Cooperatives
2024.11.04
Everspin (CEO Young-bin Ha) announced on the 4th that it has implemented FakeFinder at the Korean Federation of Community Credit Cooperatives (KFCC). FakeFinder is the only phishing prevention solution applying proprietary white-list technology. It uses AI to collect information on all apps in the world to build a white-list DB, cross-checking it with apps installed on a user's device to detect malicious apps. It is fundamentally different from the blacklist method, which only blocks malicious apps that have already caused accidents, allowing for more reliable detection of malicious apps. FakeFinder is used by the majority of financial institutions, including KB Kookmin Bank, Kakao Bank, K-Bank, NH Nonghyup Bank, Samsung Card, Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance, Samsung Life Insurance, and Hanwha General Insurance. KFCC will also apply Everspin's identity theft prevention 'iDEFENDER' within the year. iDEFENDER is a joint solution between Everspin and NICE Information Service. It is a solution that identifies devices and users with a high possibility of identity theft to prevent crimes. While existing identity theft prevention technologies focused on preventing the leak of identities, iDEFENDER is the only technology that prevents the criminal use of identities that have already been leaked.
