Hanwha General Insurance Implements 'Industry-First' Hacking Defense Solution 'Eversafe Web'

Hanwha General Insurance has significantly strengthened its digital environment security for customer information protection and web service stability. On the 26th, Hanwha General Insurance announced that it has completed the implementation of the web hacking defense solution 'Eversafe Web' from AI security company Everspin, a first in the insurance industry. Hanwha General Insurance has been progressively introducing digital security level enhancement solutions since September this year and finalized the process in December. Eversafe Web is a web hacking defense solution developed based on Everspin's core technology 'MTD (Moving Target Defense),' which holds 33 patents worldwide. MTD is a method that neutralizes hacking attempts by continuously changing the attack target, characterized by the practical protection of all resources on the web. By introducing a solution that fundamentally blocks hacking attempts, Hanwha General Insurance is now able to strengthen the protection level for customers' personal information and the company's critical information. In particular, it is expected to achieve multi-faceted security results such as preventing hacker analysis and tampering, blocking identity theft crimes, defending against cross-corporate scraping, and preventing macro attacks.
