SBI Holdings Strengthens Hacking Defense with MTD-based 'Eversafe'

AI security company Everspin (CEO Young-bin Ha) announced on the 30th that it has supplied the hacking defense solution 'Eversafe' to global financial group SBI Holdings. This implementation was conducted through SBI Everspin, a joint venture (JV) established by Everspin with the SBI Group for entry into Japan. SBI Holdings is the core parent company of the SBI Group, serving as a holding company for various subsidiaries. At the beginning of the year, Everspin's solution was proactively applied to four SBI affiliates. Eversafe, implemented by SBI Holdings, is an "AI-based Moving Target Defense (MTD) security solution" equipped with the world's only such security functions. It works by having a new security code become active every day, with a new code becoming active again after a certain period. Even if a hacker analyzes the system, no room is left for the system to be misused as the hacker intends. It is evaluated as an innovative solution with a completely different approach from other products on the market. Through the introduction of Eversafe, SBI Holdings is now able to defend against hacker attacks with MTD security technology. Eversafe is a solution based on MTD technology, which is drawing worldwide attention. It neutralizes an attacker's attempts by continuously changing the security environment. This technology, recognized by the U.S. Department of Defense as a next-generation cyber defense strategy, was realized in a form applicable to web and app services through Everspin's technical prowess. Major domestic and international financial institutions are implementing and operating it successively. It is the first realization and successful commercialization case of MTD technology. Login-based web and app services used by users are major targets for hackers and serve as the starting point for hacking, the so-called 'endpoint.' Eversafe fundamentally blocks hacking attempts because the security code is constantly changed every day."
