Everspin Supplies 'Eversafe Web' to Korea Federation of Savings Banks

AI security company Everspin announced on the 10th that its hacking prevention solution 'Eversafe Web' has been implemented by the Korea Federation of Savings Banks. The Federation has built a more secure system against overall hacking issues that have been surfacing recently. Eversafe Web is a solution that provides security across the entire web environment, based on 'Everspin MTD (Moving Target Defense)' technology, which has 33 registered patents worldwide. MTD is a security concept first devised by the Obama administration in 2009, based on the idea of frequently changing or making it impossible to identify the target of a cyberattack. Everspin first developed and succeeded in commercializing this in Korea in 2014. Eversafe Web, applied with MTD, neutralizes hacking attempts themselves. While existing hacking defense solutions evolved toward making hacking difficult and complex, even the most difficult security modules can be broken given enough time. In Eversafe Web, even if a hack is attempted, the security module itself changes, forcing the attacker to start over from the beginning. It works on the principle that hacking attempts will endlessly repeat and fail. Eversafe Web is operated by major financial institutions including the Korea Federation of Savings Banks, NH Nonghyup Bank, SBI Savings Bank, Samsung Card, Woori Card, Korea Investment & Securities, KB Securities, Kiwoom Securities, and Meritz Securities.
